    <span class="about_title2">General Manager</span><h3>The name Jon Karel has become synonymous with western NY's lust for cocktails. He curated the hugely successful drink program for “Vera Pizzeria” in 2011. Again in 2013, Jon was the master Barman for the acclaimed “Revelry” in Rochester. He co-founded the first ever upstate NY cocktail festival “RCR” in 2014, bringing cocktail professionals and enthusiasts together in the spirit of, well, spirits. He's the Co-owner of “Queen City Shaken and Stirred” bartender pro-shop, and has mentored dozens of rising new bar tenders. Jon's energy, passion and enthusiasm have lead him back to Buffalo NY to open his greatest effort yet, Buffalo Proper. Jon Karel exudes camaraderie that brings people together for good times and great cocktails. &nbsp;&nbsp;</h3></div></div>

    <span class="about_title2">Executive Chef</span><h3>Edward Forster is a Western New York native with great pride in the city and the direction in which it is headed. Starting humbly as a dishwasher, Edward realized he wanted to cook professionally after cooking simple meals for friends and feeling the pure joy of nourishing others. With CIA degree in hand, Chef Forster committed to work in the very best kitchens that would have him. Jean Georges, Georges Perrier, Graham Elliot, and Paul Kahan are just a few Edward has been privileged to study with. Today, he is back in Buffalo, trying to raise the culinary bar one plate at a time. As executive Chef for “Mike A” at the Hotel Lafayette, Forster was able to show the city what he was capable of, but that was just the start. As leader of the culinary program at Buffalo Proper, Chef Forster will showcase his unique genre-bending style of New American cuisine, along side the un-flinching resolve of Sous Crombie. &nbsp;&nbsp;</h3></div></div>

    <span class="about_title2"></span><h3>Josh Miles was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. Hospitality is in Josh's blood; his grandfather, Grady, owned a restaurant in Greer, South Carolina and had what we would now consider a food truck devoted to chili. Josh cut his teeth in the hospitality business at five-star, five-diamond The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island in Charleston, South Carolina under a one Casey Lavin. At the time of his departure from The Sanctuary, Josh was operating three restaurants within the resort. He left Charleston in 2009 to join Wegmans' restaurant management team. After a 3 year stint with Wegmans, he decided to pursue his dream of opening his own restaurant. He and his wife, Jenna, founded The Revelry in June 2013. Outside of The Revelry and his role at Buffalo Proper, Josh is also the food and beverage director for The Strathallan Hotel and with Jenna, owns and operates Branca, an authentic Italian restaurant in Bushnell's Basin, NY. Josh brings an exuberant yet refined approach to hospitality. His energy for this business is well-known and on every night of the week, you can find him at one of the four restaurants he calls home.  &nbsp;&nbsp;<br/><br/></h3></div></div>
